Almost a year after its release, February 2011, many websites still bear the marks of Panda, Google’s machine-learning algorithm, a filter that helps detect low quality web pages and affecting search results in significant ways, allegedly named after Google engineers.

Why would a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialist set out to deliberately sabotage a site's ranking potential from the get go? That's exactly what I have done with SEOSLINGER, but why would I do that? Should I not enhance the site's ability to rank well?
